A special conference on automotive electronics topics will accompany the electronica trade fair. The congress starts on November 10, one day ahead of electronica. The first day is dedicated to decision makers and offers topics such as "Ultra Low Cost Cars Opportunities and Challenges" (Strategy Analytics), or "Demand and Realisation of Automotive Power Electronics" (Continental Automotive). Other topics are semiconductors trends, with presentations from high-ranking managers from STMicroelectronics and Renesas.
The second day is dedicated to "Expert Knowledge." With technology and market-related presentations from SAE International, BMW AG, Infineon, Li-Tech Battery and Volkswagen AG. More details can be found on www.electronica.de/eac/.
Model-based development of AUTOSAR ECUs is the topic of a seminar, jointly organized by The Mathworks and Vector Informatik in Stuttgart. The event takes place on November 11 and is directed towards design engineers and project managers. The seminar will highlight The Matworks' Real-Time Embedded Coder and Vector Informatik's DaVinci Developer tool. Find more on www.mathworks.de/company/events/seminars/seminar18947.html
CTI will conduct a two-day seminar on reliability in automotive electronics. The event will take place on November 17 and 18<7 in Frankfurt and February 2 and 3, 2009 in Stuttgart. Examples for the content are methods for reliability assessment, qualification, environmental and simulating tests, reliability calculations for electronic modules and systems, and standards which ones are relevant and how to use them.
