A growing trend for improving safety in the automotive industry, is the integration of multiple periphery camera sensors and intelligent image processing technology to enable advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as lane departure warning and back-up camera with object detection. CogniVue Image Cognition Processors (ICPs) with APEX technology are superior in their ability to detect, recognize monitor and classify objects and people when compared to traditional DSPs and FPGAs.
